The Ring Study IPM 027
The Ring Study (IPM 027) was a Phase III, multi-centre, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled safety and efficacy trial of a dapivirine vaginal matrix ring in healthy HIV-negative women. The study was initiated in March 2012, HIV-1 seronegative women between 18-45 years of age were recruited at 7 research centres in South Africa and Uganda.
This was the first trial that proved Microbicides to have a significant effect on reduction of HIV transmission. Results were published at the CROI conference, Boston, USA 2017

The DREAM study IPM 032
This study was a follow up, open label study of the Ring study. The study provided additional data to demonstrate the efficacy of the Dapivirine Ring in an open label study.

The Autism Study
The Autism study was a Phase 2B, Multi-Center, Four-Arm, Prospective, Randomized, Double Blind, Placebo-Controlled Trial Evaluating the Efficacy and Safety of 2 Doses of Suramin vs. Placebo in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The study was activated in October 2019 and closed in May 2021.
